Vance Campbell
On April 14, 2021, Vance Campbell passed away. He had stopped to assist another truck driver on the side of the road. He was the son of Gene and Sandy Campbell, and a well-respected member of the amateur boxing family. He was a member of the Ohio LBC and assisted with Michigan LBC events on numerous occasions. Our deepest condolences to Gene and Sandy and Vance's family.

Coach Ali El
This past year on April 20, 2020, Coach Ali El, from Henry Hank / Superbad gym, lost his battle with the coronavirus at the age of 59. He was a beloved member of the Michigan boxing family and will be deeply missed. May he rest in peace.
