Registering your club
It is important that all clubs are registered with USABoxing.
Not registering your club leaves your club with no insurance, no protection and liable for consequences if someone gets hurt or worse, while training at your gym. If athletes are training in a gym that is not registered with USABoxing, the gym is liable for any boxers that may be injured.
It only takes one accident to incur a lawsuit.
As of this writing, there are three gyms and coaches being sued because of issues that took place at non-registered gyms. If they had insurance, they likely would not have been parties to lawsuits. The insurance company would be dealing with the situation and keeping the gyms and coaches protected.
Please make sure your gym is registered and protected.
